Cheers again!

For months, our studio (Design Forge) has worked on a series of more than 100 illustrations comissioned by Adevărul (major romanian media brand) for it's book collections.

It's been great fun working on these project but our favourite by far was illustrating Shapespeare's works. They've really given us a lot of creative freedom with these and we were looking forward for the release. Now it's finally out.

On October 28th they lauched the "Complete Works of William Shakespeare" and now it's available in stores across the country. We've posted some of them and we'll keep posting more of these drawings on our dA account ~design-forge

Here are the first two: King Lear, Richard the III^rd

I haven't drawn any of these myself, my part being concept direction, sketches and overall feel, as well as directing the team. Our very talented illustrators are: Ionuţ Gherasim, Tudor Smarandache, Vlad Osiac, Cristiana Apostol & Alex Ifrim. We've also to thank our Project Manager, Tudor Pătraşcu. It's an honor having them as coleagues in my studio.
